Glazed Blueberry Muffins Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Muffins:

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup milk

2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries (if using frozen, do not thaw)

For the Glaze:

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1-2 tablespoons milk or lemon juice

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven and Prepare the Pan:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease the cups.

Mix Dry Ingredients:

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

Cream Butter and Sugar:

In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until creamy and light.

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Stir in the vanilla extract.

Combine with Dry Ingredients:

Alternately add the dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

Fold in the blueberries gently to avoid breaking them.

Bake the Muffins:

Scoop the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Prepare the Glaze:

Mix the powdered sugar with enough milk or lemon juice to achieve a drizzling consistency.

Drizzle over the cooled muffins.

Serve:

Enjoy the muffins fresh for the best taste, ideally after the glaze has set slightly.

These muffins are perfect as a delightful breakfast treat or a sweet snack during the day.

The blueberries offer a burst of flavor with each bite, complemented by the sweet glaze.

Enjoy baking and indulging in these scrumptious muffins!
