Peanut butter chocolate cups are a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that combines the rich taste of chocolate with the creamy texture of peanut butter.

These treats are perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings and are great for sharing with family and friends.

Ingredients

For the base:

One and a half cups of graham cracker crumbs or crushed digestive biscuits

Half a cup of melted butter

One quarter cup of powdered sugar

Half a teaspoon of vanilla extract

For the peanut butter filling:

One cup of creamy peanut butter

One quarter cup of powdered sugar

Half a teaspoon of salt if using unsalted peanut butter

For the chocolate topping:

One and a half cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips or dark chocolate

One tablespoon of coconut oil or butter

Instructions

Step one: Prepare the base
In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until the ingredients are well combined and resemble wet sand.

Line a muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease it to prevent sticking. Spoon the mixture evenly into the muffin tin, pressing down firmly to form a compact base.

Place the muffin tin in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.

Step two: Make the peanut butter filling
In another bowl, mix the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and salt if using. Stir until smooth and well combined.

Take the muffin tin out of the refrigerator and spoon a layer of peanut butter filling over the crust, spreading it evenly.

Return the muffin tin to the refrigerator to set while preparing the chocolate topping.

Step three: Prepare the chocolate topping
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil or butter in short intervals of thirty seconds, stirring after each interval until smooth.

Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread it evenly.

Step four: Chill and serve
Place the muffin tin in the refrigerator for at least one hour or until the chocolate has fully set.
Once firm, carefully remove the cups from the muffin tin.

Enjoy your homemade peanut butter chocolate cups.

Tips
For a crunchier texture, mix some crushed nuts into the peanut butter layer.

If you prefer a sweeter taste, use milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate.

Store the peanut butter chocolate cups in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze them for longer storage.

These homemade peanut butter chocolate cups are simple to make and taste amazing. Whether you make them for yourself or as a gift for someone special, they will surely be enjoyed.
